Yoga

Basic Yoga poses are taught in a calming and relaxing environment.  Yoga promotes physical and mental well-being while relieving stress, lower back and neck pain also improving sleep.  Beginners to intermediates will work on poses to stretch and strengthen the entire body.

Instructor Wendy Moore teaches on Mondays 6:00-7:00pm and  Fridays from 9:00-10:00am in the Palmetto Room

Please bring a Yoga or exercise mat.

These classes are included with paid membership.

Meet Wendy Moore! Wendy is a retired safety engineer with many hobbies spanning from classic cars and camping to knitting and gardening. Her large range of interests spilled over into the fitness world. Wendy is a certified group exercise instructor and certified personal trainer with specialties in yoga, Pilates, barre, cardio kickboxing, peri/postmenopausal exercise modalities, and even belly dancing. She uses a combination of all of these specialties in her class! She welcomes all levels as she teaches variations of many exercises. Wendy’s goal is to make sure that everyone has fun and feels welcome. Her main focus is to provide a class with cardiovascular benefits, muscle building and toning, as well as balance and coordination.
