Since 2017, the Gregg-Graniteville Foundation has also funded the Jean Johnson Memorial Scholarship. Jean Johnson was a lifelong educator and beloved coach in the Graniteville and Midland Valley area. The $1,500.00 scholarship is awarded to a student that participates in athletics, displays good sportsmanship and citizenship, and plans to attend a 2 year technical college, or a 4 year university.
The scholarship is awarded by the Leavelle McCampbell School Alumni Association and application forms are available in the Midland Valley High School guidance office.
