SHEPEARD COMMUNITY BLOOD CENTER'S Mobile Unit will visit Gregg Park on Wednesday, August 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and also on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. SHARE your BLOOD and HELP SAVE LIVES!! Did you know? That one pint of blood can save up to three lives…….WOW! SOOoooo……BLOOD SHARED IS LIVES SAVED!! Call us at the park at 663-7552 for more information and to sign-up. Walk-ins welcome. REMEMBER……Donated, Processed, Tested, Stored, and then Distributed BLOOD makes a difference!!

Summer Day Camp

SUMMER SHOULD BE SO EASY!!!! It is... at Gregg Park Civic Center! Let us entertain your kids for the summer! Fun, Cool and One-Of-A-Kind activities that are sure to send your kids home with a big HAPPY SMILE and eagerly awaiting for the next day's events! Here's our list of "Special Activities" , promised to WOW them and keep them "Coming Back For More": Rock Climbing, Mega Water Slides, Magic Show and Magic Workshops,Zumba, Bricks4Kids and our local Firetruck!! On the Aaahh side... we'll get to see our SPCA friends again with our Furry Friends... "Dogs Around the World" and believe me, you don't want to miss this! SRS Ecology Lab visits with all those "Critters" or should I say "Creatures"... explaining the do's and don'ts, and afterwards we actually get to see "up close" and sometimes even get to "hold" some of these unique critters. The Bloodhounds with The Aiken County Bloodhounds will amaze us with their quick and intelligent personalities that only "A Man's Best Friend" could know. The Clemson Ext. visits, surprising us with bugs, cornsnakes, and interesting info. that you would've never thought of on your own! And Listen Up... The last day, of the last week, of Day Camp is our THEME DAY! This summer's Theme Day will be our one and only "Beach Blast" Gregg Park style... You just can't miss it! Tug-o-war on the beach, relays and games in the water, sack races in the sand, Counselors with whip cream faces and much, much more. Early Registration is suggested because space is limited! Camp is for Ages 5-12, Monday – Thursday from 9:00 – 3:00 pm Cost of Camp is $40 per week for Pass Holders and $50 per week for Non-pass Holders.
